Malcolm

Malcolm Martin BSc, FCIPD

Originally steeped in Industrial Relations, Managing Director Malcolm Martin has worked for over forty years in total encompassing employee relations, Human Resources  and training . He has developed professional training programmes for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualifications and trained hundreds of current HR professionals. He co-authors the best selling book, Human Resource Practice, with over 75,000 copies sold.

Primarily he advises clients on employee relations; employment law within an employment context; attendance management; and disciplinary processes as well as delivering training in all these skill areas.

Malcolm values trust and integrity. Through effective use of people management techniques he is interested in helping client businesses to be more profitable, care providers to achieve higher quality and charities to realise their’ aims .

Anita B&W2

Anita Manfredi, MCIPD

Since graduating in Personnel Management, Anita has been advising on operational HR issues in the Leisure, Hospitality and Logistics sectors for over 10 years. Holding group and regional HR appointments her experience has been acquired in the corporate environment such as at Reebok and Business Post. She has substantial experience in recruitment and selection, induction programmes, employee relations activities, and change management as well as more generalist HR.

Jon

Jon Powell BBA (Hons), MSc (Hons)

Jon Powell has supported technology and knowledge based start-up companies, including university spin-outs, since 2004. Jon acts as a business mentor for many start-ups providing advice, guidance and non-exec director support across all sectors. Jon has a keen interest in Enterprise and specifically Enterprise Education, acting as the Enterprise Champion for Lancaster University and is a local school governor. As a founding director of Employer Solutions Limited, Jon is committed to its successful growth and development.

Fiona Whiting MSc, FCIPD, LLB

Fiona has worked as an independent HR and OD Consultant since 2007. She has worked with a wide range of clients including NHS Trusts, universities, charities, social enterprise, independent health and social care organisations and private sector companies. Prior to this she had over 20 years experience in HR, predominantly in the health sector, and has held a number of executive board level positions. She is co-author of the highly successful and practical book Human Resource Practice. Fiona is qualified at BPS Level A in psychometric testing and is an accredited workplace mediator.

SARAH SEASTRON BSc, MCIPD

Sarah has been advising on recruitment, and operational and strategic HR issues in both the manufacturing and financial sector since 1998. Her skills in supporting and guiding managers through disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work and attendance management processes have been invaluable to our clients.  As well as a degree and chartered membership of the CIPD, she holds a Diploma in Management Studies, a certificate in counselling and BPS levels A and B in psychometric testing.

Chris

Chris Munnery MA, FCIPD, BSc (Hons)

Chris has a Post-graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Leeds Business School, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has an MA in Strategic Human Resource Management. He also has specialist qualifications in Counseling and is qualified at BPS Level B in psychometric testing. Following a generalist HR career working in a variety of sectors Chris has handled many assignments on behalf of Employer Solutions since 2004 and is very experienced in managing change, redundancies, TUPE and employee relations activities.
